Sufi Songs – The way to Supreme Happiness

‘I feel the easiest way to feel connected to god is music’ — Jitendra Jain

What a good music can do is wonder to one person.

From past few days I have been listening to a song after recommended by my friend Pintu.

Tum Ek Gorakh Dhandha ho – By Legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

The song is of 18 mins Sufi Qawalli. I have heard it over and over and it has grown over me.

First time i listened to it, it was like what is this song. After that a meaning emerged and then second and third and i felt so connected to unknown.

The power of the singer, the meaning of words, the way singer talks directly to the almighty, the way he connects, compares.  I am not a hard core believer of God but this song makes you belive in it. Amazing.

I  think music is way to god because it helps you in forgetting yourself. You don’t remember anything else, your mind syncs with body which syncs with your heart beat and this amazing moment lets you forget everything.

You are in trance. the moment you come back. Its a superb feeling.

Similarly I have hearing song  ‘ Jism Damakta’- By Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.  Man…

Look at the words, the voice, the throw, i bet if you love someone listen to this, feel it. Your love will be pure. You would feel it.

The words and voice do the trick.

Another trance, another coming back, another round of supreme happiness.

I think next time you want  to get out of tensions you have, want to forget everything for few mins, Just plugin your music player. Close all computer windows, dont sit in front of tv.  Close your eyes. Just focus on world.

You will find your way to extreme happiness. Amen.
